Using our patented recycling process and products, TerraHydroChem has had tremendous successes cleaning drill cuttings for major U.S. E&P companies. In current practice, oil base drill cuttings are treated as oilfield waste material and are currently trucked offsite at significant expense to approved land farms or slurried and injected into SWD’s. Disposal fees and transportation are expensive, and cuttings are an environmental hazard that create a potential long-term liability. Additionally, the physical transportation of this material in trucks represents ongoing liability exposure to operators due to the potential for accidents. Our process converts cuttings into environmentally sound ground cover (clean soil) at the rig site (if desired) which can be repurposed for pad site erosion control and recovers embedded oil from the cuttings adding to cost savings for the operator.
